Moringa Soup

Light yet creamy, soul satisfying moringa soup


  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Moringa powder
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • ¼ cup Green peas, carrots (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil


  • Heat oil in a saucepan and add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Fry until the onions turn translucent
  • If you are adding green peas and carrots, stir them in
  • Add the Moringa powder and mix well
  • Pour in the vegetable broth and let it boil
  • Finish it off with coconut milk and season with salt
  • Let the soup simmer for 5 minutes
  • Serve hot along with toasted sourdough bread or soup buns
